Transparency

WeekTopPick Finance was built to make comparing financial products clear and fair. On this page we explain how we work, where our data comes from and how we earn — without hiding anything in the small print.

What WeekTopPick Finance is

We are an independent comparison and map of financial products available to people living in Greece. We show products side by side, describe their features and trust attributes (for example, institution type, deposit guarantee, regulator), explain the concepts and link straight to the provider. We are not a bank, a broker or an adviser — we are an information layer that helps you understand the market.

Who we are for

For anyone living in Greece — whatever your nationality. That includes Greek citizens, EU citizens and non-EU nationals legally living in Greece. We show products from Greek and foreign institutions (for example, fintechs and banks licensed in the EU), as long as they are genuinely available to a resident of Greece.

How we select products

Products enter the comparison on the basis of verifiable data, not fees. We check real availability for a resident of Greece, the type and regulation of the institution, how funds are protected and the key terms of the product. We try to base every value we show on an official source. Products we cannot reliably verify we mark as needing a check, or we do not show them as complete.

How affiliate links work

Some links to providers may be affiliate links — if you go through to a provider from our site and take up an offer, we may receive a commission. This does not change the price or the terms the provider offers you, and it does not affect how we describe the product. Affiliate income funds our editorial work; it does not buy a positive opinion.

We do not sell placements

This is our firm rule: there are no paid positions, no “sponsored highlights” dressed up as a neutral result, and the order of products is never bought. The order follows editorial criteria (for example, availability, completeness of data, comparability), not who paid us. If we ever show paid content, we will label it plainly.

Which sources we use

We rely above all on official sources: provider pages, fee tariffs, terms, and information from regulators and deposit-guarantee schemes. When a source is indirect (for example, only reachable through a search index because the site blocks direct access), we treat it with caution and note that.

How we keep data current

Financial products change — fees, interest rates and availability can move, and promotional offers are time-limited. That is why we show the date a value was checked and treat it as current “as of” that verification. We refresh data periodically and on material changes. Always confirm the current terms with the provider before you decide.

How we mark uncertainty and missing data

We do not guess. If we have not confirmed something against a source, we write “No verified data” or “Check with the provider” — we never write “No” where information is simply missing. We show interest rates and fees as values as of the check date, not as a guarantee. We also clearly distinguish the different levels of protection (for example, a bank deposit guarantee versus the safeguarding of funds at an e-money institution).

What “—” means in a comparison: the “—” symbol means a value does not exist or does not apply to that product — it is a deliberate “not applicable” mark, not a report of missing data. When we simply have not verified a value against a source, we write plainly “No verified data” or “Check with the provider”. This makes it clear when a feature is genuinely absent and when it could not be verified.

What we do not do

  • We do not give financial, investment, legal or tax advice and we do not say what is “best” for you.
  • We do not run KYC or AML procedures and we do not collect sensitive financial data.
  • We do not open accounts, run onboarding or handle client funds.
  • We are not an intermediary — you enter the contract directly with the provider, on their site and on their terms.

Always confirm with the provider

Our information is supporting and educational in nature. Always confirm the final terms, fees, interest rates and eligibility directly with the provider before you decide. You make the decision yourself.

WeekTopPick Finance is informational. We are not a bank, a broker or a financial adviser. We do not run onboarding, we do not perform KYC and we do not handle client funds. Links may be affiliate links, but this does not affect the order or the description of products.
